Throughout history, the port of Cartagena has been the starting point of innumerable adventures and exploits. Go to sea on our Tourist Boat and discover a different view of the city sailing at 2.5 knots by the in the dock sheltered from its maritime accidents. Castles, coastal batteries, lighthouses and docks open your eyes as witnesses of the military, strategic and commercial importance of the bay.
A voiceover in several languages will help you to know the evolution of the port from the old defences to the construction of the eighteenth century arsenal, the Christmas Docks, San Pedro and Alfonso XII, in the nineteenth century, or the recent construction of the cruise terminal. You will disconnect for a while from the hustle and bustle of the city and you can complete your sightseeing by disembarking at the Christmas Fort to learn firsthand about the military life in Cartagena's fortresses during past centuries. The imposing view of the sea front will accompany you on the way back and will remain in your eyes mind after putting your feet on the ground.

Tourism for all is one of the primary objectives of the Cartagena Port of Cultures. We are working to ensure access to the largest number of visitors. At present, the Tourist Boat offers to its visitors with special needs the following facilities:
- Capacity: 85 seats. 5 wheelchairs.
- All the architectural barriers have been removed using ramps.
- Reduced rate to those with disabilities, presenting official proof at the box office.
- Guide dog access allowed with the corresponding accreditation.
